UIARA COLLECTION

UIARA is a river Siren from the Amazonian River. Based on ancient Tupi and Guaraní Mythology, she was a snake spirit, also known as “Mother of the waters”.  The Print inspiration came from Water creatures found in the Amazon River….The Caiman Crocodile, Moray Zebra Eel, and the Cobra are all found in the Amazon which is where I took inspiration for the prints.

This Collection is our most classic collection to date. It goes far beyond the beach. The Velvet and Metallic Swimwear with 24kt gold plated trims are timeless and luxurious, all responsibly hand made in small runs in Europe.

The collection boasts elegance and luxury through voluminous silk Cover-ups, which has evolved into hand painted Silk Chiffon beach dresses, one-shoulder Silk Crepe dress's with over-sized modern print techniques, Gold Metallic Silks, Versatile Silk kimonos and Statement Silk Charmeuse Kaftans. Perfect for parading everyday at the beach or integrating into arresting party-wear, Tulum style, exhibiting MONA's signature print style. The Silk Resort wear is sustainably hand-made in our Dublin Atelier, all prints designed in-house. The Swimwear is Manufactured in Europe with meticulous attention to detail and we proudly use the finest materials in our collections including luxurious crushed Velvet and 24kt gold plated metal detailing on the Swimwear and 100% Silk on all Resort wear.
